Scissors? Nah, let’s make switchbacks!

I wrap no two packages the same. It’s worth noting that, in each of the following photos, I have scissors and tape at my disposal. Also of note is the significant length of paper beyond the clearly-identifiable end of box being wrapped. I reach for the tape, rather than for the scissors.

Sometimes my technique leads to switchbacks. That is, I fold the paper back and forth until the paper is short enough to tuck and tape.
