Running Hungry: The Fall 50 Recap

What do a bear with a whisk, umbrellas in Door County, Wisconsin and hungry children in developing countries have in common?

Bear with WhiskThe answer, of course, is the Fall 50! My buddy, Ben, ran fifty miles in 8 hours, 49 minutes and 14 seconds over the weekend. More significantly, he raised enough money for Compassion International to feed over 150 children in developing countries for a month.

Ben and Relay TeamYou can check out a updates from Ben’s solo run here or my relay team’s efforts here. In time, you will see a video recap on Ben’s marathon movies page, which already includes a video from when Ben and I ran the U.S. Air Force Marathon together in 2009.
