Hey Mickey, You’re So Tricky

We’ve encountered some idiosyncrasies concerning McDonald’s® ability to count to ten McNuggets®. It all started when the local dining establishment tried to bamboozle my dear, sweet mother, giving her only nine McNuggets® for the price of ten. After the error came to the attention of the appropriate authorities, they kicked in an extra four-piece – gratuit – and all was well with the world.

Then we noticed that the ten-piece box pictured eleven McNuggets®, and we got especially suspicious. Upon further inspection, however, we noticed that the box showed nine and two-halves McNuggets®.
