Transformation

Several months ago, I helped to referee a dodge ball game. I witnessed grace through what I saw that day.

More than likely, the dodge ball field will no longer be used for playing dodge ball. The field has changed.

There’s grace in transformation. Even as dirt fields are transformed from places where middle school students disregard rules to places where new creations are under construction, there’s grace.

Even when walls restrict our view of the sunset, there’s grace.
