Curly and Me

At around five o’clock this morning, the man who oversees ministry to elementary students at church realized that he needed one more person to help students with special needs today. He prayed that someone would be standing around and available to help. Turns out, I was that someone.

This month’s theme is self-control. The second grade teacher passed out cards and asked students to draw a picture or write something that makes them angry. I wanted to participate. Here’s the picture I drew.

As you can see, I drew a picture of my friend Curly, holding the ice cream cone that he’s just stolen from me. You’ll notice that Stick Figure Me is clearly ticked.
