Smells Like Christmas

Yummy PB&K CookiesMy apartment smells like Christmas. My roommate made a weekend trip to the States for a wedding and returned earlier in the week with baking supplies. Our apartment is now an olfactory paradise. Perhaps tonight, when I retreat to Dreamland, sugarplums will dance through my head. Someone told me that our brains try to solve problems in our dreams. If someone can interpret my upcoming dancing sugarplum dream, I would greatly appreciate knowing what problem it’s intended to solve.

While we’re on the subject of food, I should mention that I learned about a new salsa move this evening. It’s called the “pancake”. While I don’t really yet know what it is, I got excited doble (for those of you who don’t hablo español, that’s Spanish for double excited) because the name of the move is in English, and because the name of the move involves food. Our instructor also translated the name of the move into French: crêpe.

Additionally, we learned a move called the matrix. Basically, for an entire eight-count, we pretend we’re Keanu Reeves, dodging bullets in slow-mo.

I have a new verse for my song -

"K" is for kisses, they're good enough for me!

Which of your roommates got married, and did they bring their wife/ves back with them?

That is a great photo by the way... chocolate... mmmmmm!
As for the dream, perhaps it will be about an alternative-rock band from Borlänge, Sweden who are trying to get in touch with you because they discovered that you bear a striking resemblance to their missing bass player, and hope that you are actually his twin brother, and they want to know if you will join the band and take over his place in time for their next concert in Nurnberg, Rock Im Park, Germany.

As for the new salsa move... isn't that Pancake a version of the tried and true dip but with a bit more gravity?
