A year ago, I went to the Royal Botanic Garden. Today I went to Cox Arboretum. I remember going to Cox Arboretum as a child to feed the ducks. Perhaps the ducks went on a low-carb diet, because today I mostly saw turtles, such as Omar, the cute turtle posing for my camera.
Omar and I watched three helicopters fly through the clouds. I wondered what the helicopters were doing. Omar couldn’t tell me. Then I stood up abruptly, and that must have spooked Omar, because he jumped in the pond. So I went for a walk in the woods.
Because the highway is right next to the arboretum, I didn’t really feel like I was in the woods. I heard helicopters, trains and automobiles on my walk. But then I got lost and felt like I’d had an authentic woods experience.
Eventually I found my way back to the bridge over turtled water.
