Culinary Hints

If you enjoy flavored coffee, and you like drinking it in your favorite thermos, try using the same thermos for brewing tea, such as raspberry tea, for several consecutive days. Don’t bother giving your thermos a thorough scrubbing. Simply revert back to coffee, and voila, you have raspberry-flavored coffee! This was my advice to my officemates this morning.

If you enjoy eating rice, but a hint of color might tickle your fancy, consider using your rice pan for dying blue Easter eggs. Don’t bother giving your rice pan a thorough scrubbing. Simply cook the rice in the egg-dying pan, and voila, you have rice with a nifty hue of cerulean! This was the advice of an officemate to me this morning.

If you enjoy fruity, fermented beverages...a second officemate gave me a tip, also regarding thermoses, for use amidst sandy patches in close proximity to large reservoirs of water. It was dumb, so I won’t repeat it.
